Ultra Sunn shares new track from debut album

Today, ULTRA SUNN have released a new single, giving fans a final peek into what's to come from their upcoming debut full-length record 'US', which will see its global release on April 19th via Toronto's Artoffact Records.

'You & Me' is available everywhere now and is a true showcase of the main theme of the forthcoming record, giving listeners a sonic window into the undeniably strong bond between Sam & Gaelle, and in turn, the core of ULTRA SUNN. The single also further demonstrates the band's ability to create songs which portray the same feeling whether you are interested in the lyrical content or the unforgivingly infectious beats.

On the new single, the band comments: "It’s probably the first love song we have written. You & Me is one of our most intimate tracks. It’s a song that talks about our relationship (Gaelle and Sam) and what we love to experience together. The verses echo our travels and places that are important to us in which we like to take refuge. The chorus sounds like something we say to each other, as if in all our experiences and favorite places, we were looking for and finding each other.

The video is the third and final part of our “Sessions” series, the first was interspersed with images of our tour in South America and the different cities we passed through, the second was interspersed with images of our hometown Brussels in Belgium, while this third is punctuated with more impressionistic and abstract images, bursts of color and vivid shapes which more precisely reflect the instinctive, sentimental or emotional aspect of the song."
