Usher Closes European Tour with a Victory Lap in London
Global entertainment icon USHER has brought his landmark USHER: Past Present Future Tour to a close in London, completing an extraordinary 10-night sold-out residency at The O2, London. More than 200,000 fans filled the arena across the run, with the European leg, which also visited Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin, drawing in over 300,000 fans in total.
But it was London that formed the heart of this tour. A city that has long embraced USHER and his music, and where he chose to begin and end this latest chapter of his 30-year career. Each night at The O2 was a reminder of USHER’s next level showmanship. Across 10 performances, USHER delivered an arena-scale production packed with vocal precision, signature choreography, multiple costume changes and a standout 15-minute skating sequence. Surprise appearances from Naomi Campbell, Eve, Craig David, T.I. and Tiwa Savage added even more buzz to a run that felt less like a tour stop and more like a residency rooted in the city’s culture.
USHER says, “Over 200,000 people showed up for me here in London... That’s something I’ll never forget. I’ve been doing this for 30 years, but the energy you gave me each night felt brand new. It’s been 10 years since I last performed in this city, and to come back like this... I don’t take it lightly. Every night I looked out into that crowd and saw faces that have been with me from the start, and faces I’m just meeting now. That’s what keeps me going. This show wasn’t just mine, it was yours too. I couldn’t have done any of it without the fans who showed up time and time again. Thank you for making this moment so powerful.”
Spanning three decades of music from “Call Me A Mack”, “Nice & Slow” and “Confessions Part II” to “Climax”, “Love in This Club”, “Good Good”, “Yeah!” – each performance was both a career retrospective and a forward-looking celebration of an artist still pushing the boundaries of live performance.
An even more incredible feat, USHER left Europe in between shows to perform at the Met Gala in New York, for which he is a Committee Member, and headline a major show in Abu Dhabi, only to return and pick up right where he left off... a testament to his extraordinary range and global standing.
With 10 nights of unparalleled energy, USHER leaves London having raised the standard for what an arena residency can be.
Following his highly anticipated return to Europe and the massive success of his 2024 North American tour, multi-platinum, 8-time GRAMMY award-winning, global entertainment icon USHER announced the Australian leg of his highly praised USHER: Past Present Future 2025 Global Tour, marking his long-awaited return to Australia for his first solo headline tour since the OMG Tour in 2011.
Emma Bownes, Senior Vice President of Venue Programming, AEG Europe said: “USHER is undeniably one of the world’s biggest stars and for ten exclusive nights, he brought the glitz, excitement and spectacle of Vegas to The O2. Over 200,000 enjoyed this incredible show from this artist absolutely at the top of his game. This ten night residency will be a moment in the venue’s history that will always be remembered.
The acrylic award, presented to USHER by The O2 team, features the tour artwork and is crafted from UV-reactive acrylic, intricately cut to replicate USHER’s stage design and the fans in the arena. Integrated UV LED lights create the striking illusion of a glowing stage, while iconic cherries – symbolic of USHER’s tour- add a unique finishing touch.
Throughout the tour, USHER has showcased fashion collaborations with Robert Wun, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Willy Chavarria, Anonymous Club, Marni. Edward Cumming, Luis De Javier, Mowalola, Luar, David Koma, Alpine Stars and many more. Each look, for both him and his dancers, was as carefully curated as the show itself.
These shows have fast become the hottest ticket in town and the guestlist proves it. Stars of culture, music, fashion and sport gathered to see USHER in action. The crowd has been packed with serious star power, including Idris Elba, Sabrina Elba, Maya Jama, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Little Simz, Jourdan Dunn, Zadie Smith, Giggs, Oti Mabuse, Clara Amfo, Trevor Nelson, Alex Scott, Jess Glynne, Ashley Walters, Michael Ward, Leomie Anderson, Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, AJ Odudu, Judi Love, Munya Chawawa, Patricia Bright, Alexandra Burke, Ghetts, Ashley Thomas, Zeze Millz, Yinka Ilori, Yomi Adegoke, Mica Paris, Chioma Nnadi, Kenya Hunt, Ramla Ali, Michail Antonio, Kimberly Walsh, Viddal Riley, Samira Mighty, Melvin Odoom, Sasha Keable, Indiyah Polack, Dami Hope, Shayna Marie, Nadia Jae and Caroline Dubois.

ABOUT USHER
USHER has changed music, culture, and countless lives. The multiple GRAMMY Award-winning diamond-selling international megastar, actor, dancer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist inspires change yet again.
Beyond selling over 80 million records worldwide and collecting dozens of awards, he has simultaneously lit up the small screen on NBC’s The Voice and the big screen in blockbusters such as Hustlers. He has also tirelessly distinguished himself as a devout humanitarian, raising tens of millions of dollars for various causes and uplifting youth via his New Look Foundation. Since 1999 he has been providing opportunities for young people in underserved communities and enabling them to flourish and achieve seemingly impossible dreams. A long-time supporter and Global Citizen Ambassador, USHER has performed at events since 2015 raising awareness to defeat poverty, defend the planet, and demand equity. A true outlier, he was equally at home on the stage of his sold-out My Way Las Vegas residency as he was on a 2016 government cultural mission to Cuba as part of President Barack Obama’s Presidential Committee for Arts and Humanities. In 2024 he celebrated 30 years as an entertainer, releasing his ninth studio album, COMING HOME.
