Wecandance 2019 releases Safari Nomads theme song

As the electronic beach festival WECANDANCE is on the verge of its 7th edition, the team has come up with something truly exceptional: for the first time in history, the festival has linked its name to a track that will represent their own theme song. The track, titled ‘Walk On The Wild Side’ was recorded by Safari Nomads feat. Tessa Dixson.

Every year, the creative starting point of WECANDANCE lies in the selection of a theme that reflects throughout all elements of the festival, immersing all attendees in the event experience.This year’s theme inspiration is ‘Safari Nomads’, going hand-in-hand with the above-mentioned Safari Nomads theme song.Observant listeners will recognize quickly the iconic Lou Reed classic. However, the famous bass line of the original track is now traded for an arrangement of swirling arpeggio synths and sensual vocals, making it a refreshing pop song with hints of contemporary R&B elements. Following the WECANDANCE ideology wherein music and art collide effortlessly, the song is accompanied by an aesthetic videoclip.
