Wesley Fuller unveils the first track from his debut EP on 1965 Records.

Wesley Fuller could well be the baby face of local pop in 2016. Surrounded by a telling tuft of ‘70s curls and backed by a troupe of Melbourne’s brightest players – Liam Hopkins (lead guitar), Brendan West (bass) & Brett Wolfenden (drums) – it won’t be an easy face to forget.

A charismatic character with a penchant for the neo-psychedelic, Wesley waltzes confidently onto any stage and with an EP scheduled for release later this spring, Fuller’s first track from the EP, Melvista sets the scene for a technicolour assault of catchy melodies, glorious harmonies and thumping disco beats.

Written years ago as a teen fuelled by Smirnoff double blacks and late night MSN chats Wesley seamlessly captures the intensity of your first crush: an affair full of strange and new experiences set to a backdrop of unabashed alt-pop.

Wesley unveils Melvista on February 22nd. A further track from the EP will be unveiled in the interim and UK dates will be announced shortly.
