Windhand, Dragged Into Sunlight, and more join A Colossal Weekend 2027
Just days after revealing Danish additions Lack, Portal Pets, Fredløs and Omsorg, Copenhagen's A Colossal Weekend returns with another wave of artists, diving even deeper into the outer reaches of heavy, experimental and extreme music.
Leading the announcement are American doom luminaries Windhand, who recently emerged from nearly a decade of silence and will make a rare appearance in Denmark. Equally exceptional is the inclusion of cult extreme metal institution Dragged Into Sunlight, who will perform their landmark and notoriously uncompromising album Hatred for Mankind.
The new additions also include French post-metal outfit Mourir, boundary-pushing experimental artist Dis Fig (DE/US), Belgian instrumental heavyweights Hemelbestormer, American blackened doom visionary Mizmor, and Sweden's genre-defying extremists This Gift Is A Curse.
With today's announcement, more than half of the A Colossal Weekend 2027 programme has now been unveiled, showcasing the festival's continued commitment to presenting adventurous music across genres, scenes and generations.
The latest additions join an already formidable lineup featuring:
A Place To Bury Strangers (US), Antropoceno (BR), Arab Strap (UK), Doom Gong (US), Fredløs (DK), Inter Arma (US), Lack (DK), Messa (IT), Omsorg (DK), Portal Pets (DK), Sadness (US) and Warning (UK).
The final programme will feature close to 30 artists across three days in the heart of Copenhagen.
Festival passes for A Colossal Weekend 2027 are available now via A Colossal Weekend and VEGA, with single-day tickets going on sale in December.
Presented by VEGA in collaboration with local partners, A Colossal Weekend 2027 takes place at VEGA and Basement in Copenhagen from 13-15 May 2027.
