Windsor's Jared Anthony and Legendary Rap Icon Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels of RUN-DMC Team Up for New Rap/Rock Collaboration

Jared Anthony is an edgy, melodic rapper/singer/songwriter/producer from Ontario, Canada. His musical style blends many influences of pop, rock, and alternative, with a heavy melodic hip hop vibe, but with an eclectic and creative new kind of sound that makes Jared Anthony stand out. Jared Anthony recently collaborated with Legendary Rap Icon, Rock-N-Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels of RUN-DMC on his newest single “Sold My Soul (Bought It Back With Rock 'n' Roll)”.

“Sold My Soul”, which is scheduled for release Friday, October 27th on all major platforms, will feature an all-star lineup including Jared Anthony and DMC on vocals, John Moyer (Disturbed) on bass, Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves) on rhythm guitar, Will Hunt (Evanescence) on drums, and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns ‘N Roses, Sons of Apollo, Asia) on lead guitar. Thal also co-produced (along with manager John Gomez), mixed, and mastered the song. With endorsements by some of the most respected rap and rock performers/musicians in the world, Jared Anthony is poised to breakout and be an artist to watch for in 2024.

“'For ‘Sold My Soul’, we were going for that Old School meets New School rap/rock vibe, I’m super pumped about this new collaboration with the legend DMC, and can’t wait to drop it,” says Jared Anthony.

Jared Anthony and DMC recently filmed a video for the upcoming “Sold My Soul” track that was directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini. The official video drops on YouTube on October 31st (Halloween) and premieres on The Power Hour Show with Matt Pinfield on AXS TV Nov 2nd, so make sure to tune-in at 11pm EST!
