Active between the late 1990s and the early 2000s, With Love were one of the most important, influential, and uncompromising bands in the Italian hardcore scene. In a period marked by deep transformations, fragmentation, and contradictions within the punk and hardcore movement, the band managed to build a personal, tense, and visceral language, far removed from trends, fashions, or easy affiliations.

Born and raised in a closed and suffocating provincial environment, largely hostile to any form of subculture or counterculture, With Love found in music an urgent and necessary means of expression. More than a reaction to a specific scene, the project was the reflection of a deep unrest — both individual and collective — translated into a form of emotional, physical, and radical punk hardcore, lived as an ethical practice before a musical one.

With Yours, Truly, Green Records and Shove Records join forces to release for the first time on vinyl the complete anthology of With Love: a monumental collection of 20 tracks covering the band’s entire creative arc. The double LP will be available from January 14th, 2026, in a limited edition of 300 copies, marking a historic moment for a discography that originally existed almost exclusively on CD, during a transitional era that heavily penalized the analog format so deeply loved by the band.

Yours, Truly includes the first two With Love albums — published on vinyl for the first time — tracks from the split with Mindless Collision, the single “Wolf In Modern Fairytales,” and an exclusive previously unreleased song, finally offering a complete, coherent, and definitive overview of an artistic journey that remained fragmented for years. An operation that restores unity and continuity to one of the most authentic experiences of the Italian hardcore underground.

For those who lived through the hardcore/punk scene of those years, the name With Love immediately evokes legendary shows, chaotic and cathartic performances, and a direct — often confrontational — relationship with the audience. Their live sets were physical, ritualistic experiences with no barriers, built on constant tension between band and crowd. Vertiginous riffs, furious drumming, sudden time changes, and the desperate, incendiary voice of Nico Vascellari defined a unique sonic language — a mix of screamo, post-hardcore, and emotional intensity that still feels urgent and necessary today.

Labels such as “emo” or “screamo,” often used superficially or dismissively at the time, never fully represented the band. With Love always considered themselves, first and foremost, a punk band — not only in sound, but in everything behind the project: anti-militarism, anti-speciesism, atheism, self-determination, pro-choice values, veganism and vegetarianism were central elements of a coherent vision deeply rooted in DIY ethics, which still guide the personal and artistic choices of the band’s members today.

The historical and human value of this release is further emphasized by the words of those who lived and helped build that scene:
