WIZ Records bets on soca sensation Ricardo Drue with “Bet,” available worldwide from all major digital retailers on December 18, 2015, from FOX FUSE. Grenadian hit producer Shawn “Mr. Roots” Mitchell of WIZ Records lands another hit with Ricardo Drue, after their previous teaming spawned “No Shame” for the 2015 carnival season and “Vagabond” in 2014. Drue also won back-to-back crowns in Antigua’s Jumpy/Power Soca Monarch competition, in 2014 and 2015, with other hits from WIZ Records

“Bet” boasts the vibrancy of contemporary soca while infusing a vintage flair, a style for which WIZ Records is becoming known. The promotional video was released on YouTube and has racked up almost 200,000 views in just over a month. With soca fans locked in to Ricardo Drue and armed with music from WIZ Records, both parties are bound to have another great season come 2016.
