The acoustic music touch from the duo is efficient. The connected couple sings with one heart, mixing voices and exchanging in a accomplice ballet. The Wood Peaks’ ambition is to lead the song to a central place without forgetting the foundations of the music and telling stories to people.

For its first album, the Wood Peaks duo wants to set the stage, as if to introduce itself to the world. The result is 12 pop tracks, proudly showing off the band's identity and history, gathered on an eponymous album.

At the beginning of the project, the idea was simple: make music for the ears and not for the feet. Each track tells its own story by going straight to the point. On a deep piano chords and a slapping guitar to rhythm the whole, the melodies are heady and the lyrics deep. Right from the writing step, the connection with the audience is thought out, so that when we listen, we want to sing.

The duo, even before the recording, hears and sees the album. Their ambition is to present a music that look like them: simple, true but above all alive. So they recorded themselves on a grand piano and an acoustic guitar, in an old cloister converted into a place of music. No big production or auto tune, it is an album in live conditions for more sincerity and emotions.
