X Raiders release new single Bobby Stevens + Tour

After getting cut down in their prime in the middle of their Weltschmerz World tour in March 2020, the X Raiders have stayed hungry. As 2021 comes to its end and venues are opening up again the Dutch rock band is ready to take on any stage.

Today they announce their tour and release a new single: Bobby Stevens.

"Everybody has their demons inside. This song is about one named Bobby Stevens that was very dear to the band. A drunken madman with great energy, but who took things a little too far sometimes," the band explains. "We had some great times together, but in the end it was better to part ways. This is a personal song for us, but hopefully also one that our fans will be able to relate to."

Mastered by Tony Lindgren (Opeth, Leprous, Sepultura, Dragonforce) at Fascination Street, Sweden. Drums recorded by Oskar Glasbergen (Jaya the Cat, Milliner) at Springtone Sound, Netherlands.

In the summer of 2020 the band released Blood on the Beach, a bonus track to complete their second album Weltschmerz ’89, recorded in Wisseloord Studios. In June 2021, they released I Wanna Be Vaccinated, a turbo-charged, pandemic-themed cover of the classic Ramones tune.

The Dutch five-piece take the awesome parts of heavy metal, punk and rock-and-roll and mix them with double-dose of humor (and a pinch of wokeness). Get ready for speed! Get ready for fury!
