On February 1st, rising country star Zach Top made history at the GRAMMY Awards after winning Best Traditional Country Album for his acclaimed record ‘Ain’t In It for My Health’. Introduced for the first time this year, the category celebrates excellence in traditional country music, with Zach becoming its inaugural and first-ever winner.

Accepting the award, Zach said: “This is insane. I feel like I watched the Grammys as a little kid and it looked like superheroes up on TV. To be here and be a little part of the whole thing is insane.”

The milestone win capped a standout night for Zach, who received three GRAMMY nominations in total, including Best Traditional Country Album (win), Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song with ‘I Never Lie,’.

The GRAMMY success marks a major moment in Zach’s rapidly ascending career, cementing his reputation as one of country music’s most authentic voices. ‘Ain’t In It for My Health’ has been widely praised for its timeless sound, rich musicianship and sharp, story-led songwriting, drawing clear inspiration from classic country while resonating strongly with a new generation of fans.

Fresh off the historic win, Zach will take his celebrated live show across Europe this spring, embarking on his ‘Cold Beer & Country Music Tour’ tour before headlining at C2C: Country to Country Festival in March.

About Zach Top:

Raised in Sunnyside, WA, Top grew up on classic country music around the family farm. At the age of seven, he formed a band with his siblings which set the stage for his musical ambitions. Throughout his teenage years and early twenties, Top honed his craft by playing in various bluegrass bands before moving to Nashville in 2021, where he has been building a reputation as one of country music’s most promising new voices.
