Having heralded his return with the song ‘Permanent Way’ and a sold out show at London’s Omeara, Charlie Cunningham marks the announcement of a headline European tour in October with the unveiling of a second new track ‘Sink In’.

What Charlie describes as “the slightly ominous guitar intro part” of ‘Sink In’ inspired a tale of ambiguous persuasion. ‘Sink In’ was produced alongside Sam Scott and Duncan Tootil and features the White Brothers – better known as Hugo, Felix & Will from The Maccabees on keyboards, electric guitar and bass respectively.

As hinted at on ‘Permanent Way’ – (released Feb 12th) currently standing at over 1 million streams and counting – Cunningham has enriched his new material with boosted colours and dynamics while retaining the essence of the man’s achingly personal appeal. 'Sink In’ is dusty driving music mining that rich seam of Flamenco guitar that runs through much of Charlie Cunningham’s music

Cunningham is currently on an extensive tour of the US ahead of a one off headlining show at Queen Elizabeth Hall at London's Southbank Centre on June 12th. Along with his band Cunningham takes to the road again in October for dates across Europe ahead of a headlining UK tour in November. Tickets are available from www.charliecunningham.com

Charlie Cunningham released his debut album, Lines in 2017 to widespread acclaim from both international listeners and critics. The album brought together his unique combination of deft nylon stringed guitar playing with dramatic dynamics, creating distinctive, spectral melodies.

A move to Seville to hone his guitar technique acted as a catalyst to Cunningham’s creativity. Taking the percussive and rhythmic qualities he developed there, he began to thread his individual approach together. His songs have received airplay across BBC 6 Music and Radio 1 whilst on Spotify, the versatility of his songs have led to millions of monthly plays.
