Bursting onto the scene with bold attitude EUT bring fresh energy to 1990s inspired sounds, drawing on influences from bands ranging as wide as the Pixies, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blur, Weezer, Hole, Wilco or Beck.
Fronted by the charismatic bundle of energy of singer Megan de Klerk the band craft beautifully written songs with gorgeous melodies - all hooky pop tunes in a straitjacket, about youthfulness and growing up. They are catchy, full of energy and intriguing at once, without ever sounding too polished.
EUT formed in 2016 in Amsterdam, after meeting at the local art college. Their first Single ‘Supplies’ was released in June 2017. Ever since the band has been gaining friends quickly. Dutch national radio station 3FM included them in their ‘3FM Talent’ line up, the band toured as part of the ‘Popronde’ travelling festival and as a result EUT gained the attention of many music journalists, including them in their ‘Bands to Watch in 2018’ lists.
National broadcaster 3voor12 officially voted EUT’s performance to be their best show at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2018.
