Eurovision Song Contest winners at Werchter? There’s a first time for everything. Måneskin have had an impressive year so far. Their winning Eurovision song, ‘Zitti e Buoni’ hit gold and platinum in more than 15 countries. The follow-up, ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’ charted in half the countries on the planet and made it clear that the band are here to stay.
The Italians have had hit after hit and their concerts have sold out in no time at all. The band was awarded an MTV EMA for 'Best Rock' a few weeks ago and last weekend they were already on the other side of the ocean for the AMAs. Måneskin had the honour of opening for the Rolling Stones in Las Vegas early November. Mick Jagger crowned them the ‘kings of European rock’ and proudly shared a photo with the band. That’s quite a commendation.
The Italian band will play Rock Werchter on Saturday 2 July. Oh mamma mia!
