A full year on from the incredible Jurassic 5 concert, Dour Festival is preparing to welcome yet another legend of the hip-hop scene - East Coast hero NAS. The rapper has just confirmed he will be appearing at the festival for a very special concert, playing his hugely influential first album 'Illmatic' to celebrate 20 years since its release.
We have also had confirmation that two absolute pillars of the Detroit house and techno scene will be playing: Moodymann, as well as new live set from Theo Parrish. Also new are two big names from the UK bass, house & techo scene - the ingenious Icicle and the irrepressible Subb-an, both playing live. Not to be forgotten, the young Australian Wave Racer - recently signed to the Flume label - will be on hand to spread some good vibrations across the Plaine de la Machine à Feu.
Metal and hardcore fans won't come to rest thanks to the epic British punk quartet Gallows and bands such as Trash Talk, coming straight from California, and Channel Zero who are representing the Belgian scene. They join a rock/indie line-up that features Blood Red Shoes, TRAAMS, Future Islands, MCLD and The Feather.
A tireless ambassador of reggae, Gentleman & The Evolution, will be spreading love, peace and understanding around the festival. The Portugese Buraka Som Sistema will also be joining the party with their unique style - somewhere between Angolan Kuduro and ghetto electronica. Branko (one quarter of Buraka Som Sistema) will also be closing the festival with a DJ set. Elsewhere, the Brussels group Opmoc will be dishing out samples of their electrifying cocktail of funk, reggae, punk, hip-hop and salsa.
Dope ADN, a Belgian rap duo, will be showcasing the considerable ambitions of the scene, while the nighthawk that is Surfing Leons will invite you into his hot 'n steamy world.

There is a new stage opening at Dour Festival - Le Terril! This new, unique and innovative space will be home to interdisciplinary projects throughout night and day. Over the four days of the festival, between four and eight concepts will gain exposure, all of them having just one thing in common - they will have been also created by you.
