The first name is in! Rammstein will play Rock Werchter on Friday 1 July 2016. Werchter's favourite Germans -this is their 5th appearance- are bringing their hotter-than-everything-else live experience to the festival. Rock Werchter takes place from Thursday 30 June to Sunday 3 July inclusive in Werchter Festivalpark (Belgium). More names to follow soon. Let the countdown begin!
Driving beats and hell-bent guitars. Fireworks. Disguises. Provocations. A wink. Pure theatre. Tanzmetall. Rammstein create a stir. A six-piece band with a cast-iron brand. Front man Till Lindemann almost always sings in German. Never has this held them back. Rammstein are as big in Australia and the US as they are in Europe. Some of this international fame they owe to David Lynch and Trent Reznor, who used two Rammstein recordings on the soundtrack for Lost Highway (1997). That started the ball rolling and it's never stopped. Rammstein plays Rock Werchter for the fifth time. They played the festival also in 2002, 2005, 2010 and 2013.
