BΔSTILLE lanceert gloednieuwe single 'Good Grief' !

BΔSTILLE is terug, en hoe! ‘Good Grief’ is de eerste nieuwe single en opener van het nieuwe album ‘Wild World’, de opvolger van platina succesdebuut ‘Bad Blood’. Wanneer de nieuwe langspeler precies zal verschijnen is momenteel nog niet bekend.

‘Good Grief’ is een dynamische, uptempo zomersingle. Met een hypnotiserende bassline, schichtige synths en Dan Smith’s krachtige stem bouwt het nummer op naar het opzwepende refrein. Het is een onmiskenbare BΔSTILLE song . Euforisch maar ook melancholisch. Voor de vroege fans van de BΔSTILLE mixtapes zullen de filmquotes niet onbekend in de oren klinken. In ‘Good Grief’ hoor je Kelly Le Brock uit de jaren '80 cult klassieker, 'Weird Science'. Het nummer ‘Good Grief’ werd geschreven door frontman Dan Smith en geco-produceerd door Mark Crew (tevens de producer van de debuutplaat en de nieuwe plaat).

Slechts vijf jaar geleden schreef Zuid-Londenaar Dan Smith alleen in z’n slaapkamer een album en ging hij op zoek naar muzikanten. Chris Wood (drums), Will Farquarson (gitaar) en Kyle Simmons (toetsenist) vervolledigden snel het plaatje en BΔSTILLE werd geboren. Na honderden kleine shows in eigen land werd single ‘Flaws’ op de wereld losgelaten. De band werd meteen in vele landen geboekt voor promotie, waaronder België (het eerste land dat de groep voor promotie bezocht buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk). De Belgen hebben de groep snel omarmd. Nog voor single ‘Pompeii’ losbarstte werd een AB Club al uitverkocht. Fast forward: Na wereldhit ‘Pompeii’, 11 miljoen verkochte singles, 4 miljoen verkochte albums, eindeloos veel platina awards en 3 jaar toeren, kan je gerust spreken over een wereldgroep.

BΔSTILLE kwam voor het eerst naar België in 2013 en heeft sindsdien bijna onophoudelijk de charts bestormd. Niet minder dan 4 singles van de debuutplaat konden bekroond worden met awards.
