DEFECTS kondigen tour aan met Of Mice & Men en tekenen bij Mascot Records, UTA en Raw Power Management

Defects exploderen het einde van 2023 binnen met een drievoudige aankondiging. Ze zullen zich bij de Amerikaanse metalcore-band Of Mice & Men voegen op een tour van 19 shows in november en december, waarbij ze Duitsland, Frankrijk, Nederland en Groot-Brittannië zullen aandoen. Daarnaast hebben ze ook deals getekend bij Mascot Records, United Talent Agency en Raw Power Management en werken ze momenteel aan hun debuutalbum.

Tony Maue [Vocalen], Luke Genders [Gitaar], James Threadwell [Gitaar], Harry Jennings [Drums] en David Silver [Bas] startte vorig jaar sterk wanneer zij in maart ter support van de Zweedse metallers In Flames op tour gingen in de UK. Daarna opende ze voor Bullet For My Valentine en brachten hun set naar festivals als The Great Escape, Download, 2000 Trees, Bloodstock en Primordial General Mayhem. Ze sloten het jaar af met hun eerste UK-headline tour en brachten hun debuut EP ‘Dream Awake’ uit samen met video’s voor Dream Awake, End of Days en Scapegoat.

Over de tour met Of Mice & Men vertelt de band, “We are hugely thankful to the guys in Of Mice & Men for the continued support and the amazing opportunity to follow them around Europe for the first time and in the UK. Growing up listening to this band and now sharing a stage with them is truly an honour, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we can do.”

De band heeft ook deals getekend met zwaargewichten Raw Power Management (Bullet for My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon, Don Broco), United Talent Agency (Architects, Baby Metal, Nova Twins) en Mascot Records (VOLA, Dragged Under, Conquer Divide, Oxymorrons). De band deelt hierover, “Knowing that you have people with amazing, combined experience around you and believing in you really does make all the blood, sweat and tears worth it when you’re trying to build a new band. We are incredibly excited for the future, and we couldn’t be in better hands.”

Raw Power’s CEO Craig Jennings voegt daaraan toe, “We are delighted to add Defects to our Raw Power family. One of the most exciting and visceral new UK metal bands in what is a burgeoning scene. Signing to such a legendary label as Mascot and going out with rock legends Of Mice & Men is the perfect way to launch into our debut album campaign."
