Kaleo kondigt nieuw album aan

Vier jaar na het verschijnen van het album A/B brengt KALEO op 5 juni het nieuwe album Surface Sounds uit. Eerder verschenen al twee nieuwe nummers: 'I Want More' en 'Break My Baby'. Daar werd vandaag de track 'Alter Ego' aan toegevoegd. Luister naar 'Alter Ego'

Frontman JJ over het nieuwe album: “This album has been such a puzzle for me. I've literally jumped into studios in Greece, South America, and all over Europe creating what is now Surface Sounds. Any time I went home to Iceland, every time I was in L.A., I enjoy seeing what we can create in the moment and in each environment.”

OVER KALEO

Sinds hun doorbraak met het album A/B heeft de uit Ijsland afkomstige band KALEO wereldwijd meer dan 1 miljard streams op hun naam staan en in maar liefst 39 verschillende landen certificeringen behaald. De hitsingle 'No Good' was goed voor een GRAMMY-nominatie en de nummers 'All The Pretty Girls' en 'Way Down We Go' werden gebruikt in verschillende tv-series. Al snel volgde een wereldwijde tour, waaronder een show in AFAS Live in 2017.

Frontman JJ was vorige week te gast in het NPO Radio 2-programma Jan-Willem Start Op! om de nieuwe single 'I Want More' te spelen. Eind februari speelde de band live in The Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert.
