Midlake lanceert The Calling en kondigt tour aan

Psych-folk band Midlake heeft de energieke en meeslepende single The Calling (hier op Spotify) uitgebracht. Deze is afkomstig van hun zesde studio-album A Bridge Too Far dat op 7 november wordt verwacht. Over The Calling vertelt frontman Eric Pulido zelf:

“I really liked where we landed with ‘The Calling’. A driving vibe that opens up nicely with the horn section Jesse and Sam devised so perfectly. Lyrically the song has to do with my own struggle with applying myself towards a given effort; denying or embracing that which we were made to do.”

Ook heeft de band aangekondigd in februari op tour te gaan, waarbij ze ook naar Nederland en België komen.
