Oekraïense metal band JINJER dropt gloednieuwe single en video 'Someone's Daughter';

De Oekraïense metal band Jinjer dropt vandaag zijn gloednieuwe single 'Someone's Daughter', die hier te beluisteren is. De video van de nieuwe single staat hieronder.

Frontvrouw Tatiana Shmayluk licht toe: "'Someone’s Daughter' is an artistic attempt to cast light on the inner world of women, who in various scenarios and circumstances have had to choose a path that was historically made by men. In a world where women are often underestimated and overlooked, they are still powerful heroes who navigate hardship with strength and resilience, unapologetically becoming themselves and breaking barriers in the face of the challenges that face them."

"'Someone’s Daughter' celebrates transition from naivety into wisdom, weakness into force, unwavering determination and fearlessness as our mothers, sisters, daughters and wives walk through adversity and fight for better change. These women are often forgotten but they have earned respect. They‘ve earned mine, that's for sure."

Deze maand toert de band door Europa en is op zondag 11 augustus onder meer te zien op het Alcatraz festival in Kortrijk (B). In september en oktober trekt Jinjer vervolgens door de V.S. en Canada, en keert daarna terug naar Europa voor onder meer drie Benelux concerten:

- zondag 3 november: Sepulfest 2024, 's-Hertogenbosch (NL)

- dinsdag 5 november: Ancienne Belgique, Brussel (B) - SOLD OUT!

- dinsdag 5 november: Rockhal, Esch-sur-Alzette (LUX)

Daarna zal de band zijn tournee voortzetten door Brazilië, Argentinië, Chili, Colombia, Costa Rica en Mexico.
