Pentagram brengt uitgebreide DVD uit met opnames van de afgelopen drie decennia

Eindelijk! Pentagram brengt op 23 februari de DVD All Your Sins uit via Peaceville Records. All Your Sins bevat meer dan zes uur aan live materiaal dat Pentagram gedurende de afgelopen drie decennia heeft opgebouwd. Dit past uiteraard niet op één DVD, vandaar deze dubbelaar.

Pentagram werd begin jaren zeventig opgericht door zanger Bobby Liebling. Het debuutalbum Relentless verscheen echter pas in 1985. Pentagram groeide uit tot een van de meest invloedrijke en belangrijkste bands in de geschiedenis van heavy/doom metal.

Oude, niet eerder vertoonde beelden, zijn uit de archieven getrokken, opgepoetst en gereed gemaakt voor vertoning. De zes uren beeldmateriaal zijn opgebouwd uit zeldzame beelden en recente optredens van Pentragram. All Your Sins is een complete verzameling van Pentagrams werk van de afgelopen dertig jaar. Zo staan ook legendarische shows zoals in CBGB’s in 1985 op de DVD.

Pentagram kreeg in 2011 hernieuwde aandacht door middel van Last Days Here, de documentaire over Bobby Liebling. De film heeft op internationaal vlak erkenning gekregen en is bekroond als ‘Best Music Documentary’ op het IDFA.
