Plantoid deelt single Good For You en staat op ESNS

Na het succes van hun debuutalbum Terrapath brengt de Britse band plantoid op 30 januari hun tweede album FLARE uit. Op deze plaat blijft de band trouw aan hun math-rock roots, maar trekt hun sound verder open richting wall-of-sound shoegaze en vocal-forward rock.

Van deze plaat deelden ze deze week de single Good For You (hier op Spotify), waarmee ze hun experimentele en prog-rock kant laten horen. Over de track vertelt de band:

“This track to us is an amalgamation of old and new; stylistically it pushes us forwards while retaining aspects of our progressive and experimental roots. It’s a journey of rebirth and processing emotions, of learning to create space for your feelings, then trying to feel good about it."

Begin volgend jaar komt de band naar Nederland voor een show op Eurosonic Noorderslag.
