Platenlabel Rhino eert artiesten tijdens Black History Month

Legendarische zwarte artiesten creëerden de soundtrack voor culturele, sociale en politieke revoluties wanneer de wereld het nodig had. In 2021 zijn hun opgenomen boodschappen van waarheid, hoop en verandering nog net zo relevant. Platenlabel Rhino staat deze maand tijdens Black History Month stil bij hun onmiskenbare impact op de samenleving en kunstenaarschap in de populaire cultuur door middel van een aantal high-profile gekleurde LP- en digitale releases van onder andere Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Lil Kim en Ray Charles.

Speciaal voor Black History Month zijn jonge vooruitstrevende en gekleurde graphic designers gevraagd om een nieuwe interpretatie te geven aan de LP hoezen. Het doel van de campagne is om te informeren over de belangrijke rol die Afro-Amerikanen in de geschiedenis hebben gespeeld middels hun muziek. Klik hier voor meer informatie.
