ALIASound releases Spotlight

ALIA, an Australian-born, US–based artist, takes the term “all-round performer” to new heights. In 2022, she became a Grammy-considered artist for Best Rock Performance with her single “Calling Me”, released through Who?Mag / Sony Orchard. The daughter of R’n’B soul legend Doug Williams, ALIA was destined for music.

A multi-talented singer, songwriter, and dancer, she has lit up stages across Australia’s most iconic venues and performed globally alongside Craig David and Nelly Furtado. Early in her career, she also appeared in theatre alongside Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe, proving her versatility as an entertainer. Her career has included chart-topping success as part of a Warner Music-signed girl group, where she achieved a No. 4 hit single featured on KISS FM, MTV, and Rage.

As a solo artist, ALIA collaborated with Jonny Sonic of The Potbelleez to release her debut EP Can’t Do Without You through Broken Records, owned by house music pioneer Jesse Saunders. She later scored two No. 1 iTunes Dance Chart hits with “Only Now” and “Victim” via Booshu Records.

In 2020, ALIA evolved into a Pop-Rock goddess with a new sound and image crafted alongside acclaimed producer Phil Anquetil. Blending the grit of grunge with the hooks of pop, she carved out a unique space in today’s music landscape.

Now, ALIA steps into her newest era under the fresh identity ALIASound, a platform for her most pop-driven, high-energy releases. Leading this exciting new chapter is the brand-new single “Spotlight”, out on the legendary Belgian label BIP Records. A pulsing pop anthem with a fierce edge, “Spotlight” captures ALIA’s unapologetic confidence and dynamic artistry. With its infectious hooks and stadium-ready production, the track is already being hailed as her boldest release yet, destined to light up playlists, airwaves, and dance floors worldwide.

Beyond music, ALIA is also an entrepreneur and founder of United States of ALIA PTY LTD, an entertainment booking and arts production company. Through it, she manages her own projects and supports other artists, creating opportunities for creatives across music, dance, design, and technology in both Australia and internationally.
