Ava Londen Conference Programme announced for St Patricks Day weekend

Returning to London for a third consecutive year of industry defining conferencing and electronic music, AVA announce a full list of leaders and tastemakers scheduled to provide insight at the 2020 event. Featuring talks, panel discussions, interviews, showcases, and networking opportunities at London’s premiere venue - Printworks - AVA fill a glaring niche in the UK’s music industry offering with their 2020 conference.

Affirming the capitol’s position as an international music hub, AVA provide an opportunity for industry, artists and music & visual art enthusiasts and international delegates to come together under one roof, bringing together a host of the world’s leading talent including genre-defining acts such as Orbital, Jayda G and Actress to take part in the event. Also joining the line up as lead partner, streaming platform SoundCloud bring their highly acclaimed Creator Forum to Printworks for a full day of insight and an exclusive musical showcase. Seminal independent label Ninja Tune are also in attendance, celebrating 30 years of releases with a must watch talk at this year’s event among many other highlights.

The AVA conference is free for all to attend (via an online sign up form here) and is dedicated to providing a much needed platform for people breaking into the industry to network and gain insight from those driving electronic music and visual art forward.

SoundCloud are partnering with AVA to bring its SoundCloud Creator Forum to this year’s conference for two days of events on Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, 2020. The SoundCloud Creator Forum is a live event platform designed especially for aspiring and emerging creators with a focus on education, connection and helping artists get discovered.

The event programming includes workshops, networking sessions and panels covering topics such as the impact of technology on DJ culture and authentic brand building to break through in the industry. In addition, SoundCloud will host a discussion focused on mental wellness and developing a self-care toolkit for music professionals and creatives across all industries. All programming reflects SoundCloud's mission to empower creators to take their career to the next level and push music culture forward.

30 Years of Ninja Tune

Recapping the label’s origins and early days, Ninja Tune’s bosses want to celebrate the label’s rich past and provide a look forward at what’s to come or the underground’s most exciting imprint. Exploring the label’s growth in recent years, great signings such as Jayda, Bicep, Floating Points, Marie Davidson, Sampa The Great plans for the future.

There will also be a focus on environmentalism & sustainability and what steps labels like Ninja Tune can play in this.

Rounding off discussion, label boss and one half of seminal Coldcut, Matt Black will also speak on some of Ninja’s recent forays into the tech world, with Erika Synths (Zen Delay) and Jamm Pro.
