Today, Faroese indie-folk singer-songwriter Benjamin Rajani releases his new single ‘Minnist’ the last song from his upcoming album “Tá hvørt ljós líkist tær”, releasing on March 28th, via Tutl records.

An indie pop banger, ‘Minnist’ is driven by energetic guitars and punchy drums, the song radiates an upbeat feel, while its semi-abstract lyrics—woven with hazy memories and a longing for a brighter future—spark intrigue and emotion.

About Benjamin Rajani

Benjamin Rajani is a gifted Faroese singer/songwriter with a distinct flair for moving poetry and captivating melodies. His music is characterized by Nordic melancholy and is inspired by artists such as Sufjan Stevens and Sigur Rós. While studying for a psychology degree in England, Benjamin’s love for his native tongue, Faroese, started to grow. This wasreflected in his song writing, as he wrote more than 90 songs in Faroese during that time.
