Heavy Alternative Rockband Next Deed are introducing their newest and latest single + the upcoming new EP

NEXT DEED are announcing the release for new single ‘Tears Won’t Dry’ from their upcoming second EP, ‘The Soldier - Act 1’.

The first single “Bulletproof” from the upcoming EP was already released on April 15th 2024 and reached #1 on the Luxembourg iTunes Rock Charts within 6 hours. The second single “Tears Won't Dry” was released on June 17, 2024 and has received a great radio response so far because of its catchy hooks and easy to sing along parts.

All the songs are inspired by the drama 'Woyzek' written in 1836 by Georg Büchner, based on a group of characters. The theme is mental illness, relationships between people and resentment.

Inspired by this story, the first EP of a 5-piece concept, which will be released on December 7, 2024, will deal with the situation of a mentally ill soldier who discovers his partner's infidelity and finally commits a murder of passion.

About Next Deed:

Founded in 2021 by Sue Scarano (guitars & backing vocals) and Lou Metz (drums), Next Deed is an alternative hard rock band consisting of five musicians (with Kevin Roy on guitars and backing vocals, Romain Haas on bass and Alain Hertges on vocals). The guitar riffs, elaborate harmonies and playful samples mixed with the lyrics and Alain's powerful voice define the musical style of this Luxembourgish band.

Next Deed benefits from the musical experience of Sue Scarano and Lou Metz, who with their respective former bands (Elysian Gates, symphonic metal & Vintage Gigolos, rock) have represented Luxembourg on the national and international music scene for several years.

Their first self-produced EP entitled ‘New Beginnings’, mixed and mastered by Maxim Losch of Redville Studio, marked an important first step in the history of Next Deed. This EP was presented to a sold-out audience at the Rockhal on April 1, 2023
