Hey Life New Ep 'Masquerade'- Available on December 7th

With their groove-infused rock and catchy melodies, HEY LIFE draw their inspiration from the British alternative scene and seek one thing: Rally the crowd through their tunes forged for the stage. The positive vibe and energy of the five frenchies transpire their only concern, to make the crowd move!

After releasing two singles “The Way Out” and “Morning” at the end of 2017, the band will release their first EP “Masquerade” on December 7th, 2018. They revealed the first song “Here’s The Thing About Lilith” on October 8th. The band will then give life to “Masquerade” on stage throughout 2019.

The band HEY LIFE is pleased to unveil his first ever EP “Masquerade”. This 5-tracks combo presents is a mix of genres characterized by strong modern alternative rock riffs paired up with groovy tones inspired by the 80/90 pop-funk trends. The whole thing is colored by unifying vocals and electro elements strengthening the songs’ atmosphere.

Through his compositions, the band is talking about the human behind appearances. The evocative songs are digging through the physical mask to reveal the qualities, defaults, emotions and personality traits of each of us in a modern context. Using irony and metaphors, the tracks are approaching various themes such as superficiality, love or social media addiction.

Since his creation, the band started to conquer an audience during numerous Parisian and provincial gigs. It’s now time for HEY LIFE to make a new step, to expose their universe by giving life to “Masquerade” on stage.
