Iceland Eclipse Festival announces Amnesia Ibiza Presents Pyramid at Iceland Eclipse, welcoming one of Ibiza's most celebrated underground brands to the festival for a special Aurora Stage takeover on Thursday, August 13.

For more than five decades, Amnesia has stood at the forefront of global club culture, helping define Ibiza's nightlife legacy while launching the careers of generations of electronic music artists. Among its most celebrated concepts, Pyramid emerged in 2018 and has become synonymous with the values that helped define Ibiza's underground culture - music first, freedom through dance, and genuine human connection. Pyramid has quickly become one of the island's most respected club concepts, championing authentic dancefloor experiences and forward-thinking electronic music.

For one night only, Pyramid will bring that spirit from Ibiza to Iceland for a special Aurora Stage takeover featuring versatile beat selector Tiga, underground veteran Art Department, Italian tastemakers MarT b2b Luca Donzelli, fast-rising Ibiza staple CiCi, and Canadian DJ and producer Nitin.

Iceland Eclipse is an intimate five-day gathering taking place August 11–15, 2026, centered around Iceland's final total solar eclipse until 2196. With attendance capped at just 3,333 guests, the experience unites music, culture, science, wellness, and discovery across the otherworldly landscapes of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Framed by glaciers, volcanic peaks, waterfalls, lava fields, and dramatic black-sand shores, the event offers a rare opportunity to witness a historic celestial moment in one of the world's most awe-inspiring settings.

This year’s gathering carries an added sense of occasion, coinciding with the rare alignment of Iceland’s total solar eclipse and the 50th anniversary of Amnesia Ibiza. As one of electronic music’s most enduring cultural institutions, Amnesia’s milestone year adds another layer of significance to a moment already defined by rarity, connection, and collective experience.

On August 12 a total solar eclipse will darken the skies over Iceland for more than two minutes - the first eclipse on this mystical land since 1954 and it won’t happen again until 2196. (And it’s one of the longest totalities of this eclipse!).

Since ancient times eclipses have heralded change - powerful endings and beginnings - as the Moon darkens the Sun’s light we stand in awe at the unfathomable nature of the universe and our part in it. This eclipse will be in the sign of Leo - the sign of the Heart, courage and the astrological ruler of the Sun.

On August 11 commences an extremely unique festival Iceland Eclipse in Sneafelsness peninsular, on the western tip of Iceland - a meeting of many worlds, tribes and traditions - music, science, art, wellness and more - unite and merge together to share, create, explore and celebrate a way of being.
