ionnalee Announces First Tour Date In 5 Years With Video & Single For ‘JOY’

ionnalee unravels new album ‘EVERYONE AFRAID TO BE FORGOTTEN’ with a soul-stirring new single entitled ‘JOY’. The third single to be released from the iamamiwhoami artist, ‘JOY’ sees eruptions of sound mesh together with ionnalee’s commandingly buoyant vocal performance. A tour de force, ‘JOY’nods to ionnalee’s forthcoming album in emphatic style and will also be accompanied by a music video directed by ionnalee and John Strandh – which serves as part of the feature length film being delivered with the album.

Having recently toured with Röyksopp performing at Coachella, Rolling Stone listed the performance as one of the ‘15 Best Things We Saw At Coachella 2017’. 2018 sees ionnalee announce her first live solo performance in 5 years, since she last toured as iamamiwhoami in 2013. ionnalee will be take the stage at HEAVEN, London on May 9th.

‘EVERYONE AFRAID TO BE FORGOTTEN’ is released on the 16th February 2018. An album spanning fifteen songs and is set alongside a 1 hour stand-alone filmic counterpart (co-created with cinematographer, John Strandh, in alliance with fashion and art trail-blazers, COMME des GARÇONS). This builds on her prestigious heritage from the iamamiwhoami YouTube channel which has since its inception, garnered over 43 Million views and 23 Million streams via Spotify on their releases; whilst also being awarded ‘Innovator Of The Year’ at the Swedish Grammis even before their first physical release.
