Kids With Buns share details of "waiting room" EP

Kids With Buns share the details and artwork of their debut EP "waiting room". The EP will be available on all streaming platforms and on very limited CD edition.

To celebrate this release with their closest fans, Kids With Buns will hold an exclusive release event at De Studio in Antwerp on 15 April 2022. It will be a cosy evening where we listen to the new EP together. Amber and Marie will discuss the EP with fans and share with them everything they want to know about the creation process. The conversation will be moderated by Sarah Bekambo. They will close with an acoustic set where they will play a number of tracks from the EP. Tickets can be obtained by ordering the EP here and sending a screenshot of the order confirmation via DM on Kids with Buns Instagram or via e-mail. Winners will be announced on 29 March and notified via DM or e-mail.

EP tracklist

1 waiting room

2 the snakes

3 numbers

4 1712

5 bad grades

6 untitled (live)

In 2020 Kids With Buns released their first track and immediately became the face of the yearly campaign of “1712”, the Belgian violence helpline, with their synonymously titled song touching upon sexual intimidation.

After winning De Nieuwe Lichting 2021, their single “bad grades” hit number one in Studio Brussel’s De Afrekening and amassed over one million streams worldwide. Live, Kids With Buns translates their music in a disarming way and has, so far, captivated audiences in Belgium and The Netherlands (Lokerse Feesten, OLT Rivierenhof, Botaniek Live...). In March 2021 Kids With Buns covers 'She' (Dodie) to support the queer community after the senseless violence in Beveren.

In October they shared a new single “untitled”, that talks about the growing self-centredness in society, which makes us feel the kind of loneliness and alienation that you can't put into words. And we started 2022 well with “waiting room”, a song about losing yourself in isolation. They teamed up with Bram Vanparys (The Bony King of Nowhere) to capture that feeling of loneliness, desperation, and “ugh” on record.
