Leeched stream debut album ahead of release

Manchester hardcore trio, LEECHED, are streaming their debut album in full ahead of the release date this Friday. The album, titled You Took The Sun When You Left,is available to hear now via Metal Hammer. The album will be released on August 24, 2018 via Prosthetic Records.

LEECHED are currently on tour with Full of Hell in the UK with more live action planned throughout the rest of 2018. Among their performances will be a home-town show in Manchester where they will play You Took The Sun When You Left in full, plus Damnation Festival in November, alongside the likes of Anaal Nathrakh and Napalm Death.

The band comments:

"We are very excited to present this album - almost a year after we released our EP. We feel we have made steps in a bolder direction as a band since then, and hope people will hear this experimentation when they listen.

"It’s been great to be on the road with Full of Hell the week the album comes out - it’s certainly made an impact. We’ve even had people coming to shows because they saw the album's reviews online. Thank you to everyone who’s checked us out so far.”

Barely a year after they formed, and with an incessantly intense EP - Nothing Will Grow From The Rotten Ground - already under their belts, LEECHED are taking a fast-paced swipe at the world around them. Bands sharing a distaste for the status quo, or a dissatisfaction for the world around them may not be something new, but few bands are doing it with the vitriol and vehemence that is offered up on You Took The Sun When You Left.

Taking influence from every dark and dingy corner of extreme music, LEECHEDmay be moving at break-neck speed, but they're a band who are quickly finding their feet - both in the studio and out on the road. You Took The Sun When You Left is heavy with bleak and brutal tracks set atop today’s despairing and desolate industrialised landscape.
