Maddy Street – new single ‘Herbal Tea’ on 10 July

Maddy Street (Street as in the street) is a slightly cheeky Franco-British artist with a style all of their own: alternative, rock, electro, absurd and in-your-face. With two national breakthroughs under their belt and three years of touring totalling 150 dates, they are rounding off this promising start to their career with the release of a mixtape entitled “No Limits”, from which they will release a new single every two months in 2026. Maddy hails from the depths of the beautiful Normandy countryside, far from the big cities and the usual circuits a path against the tide that reminds us that no limits determine the reach of a voice especially when it’s made to make some noise.

‘Herbal Tea’ is an explosive pop-rock anthem driven by raw energy, catchy melodies and a chorus tailor-made to be chanted all summer long.

With this latest single, Maddy Street channels her frustration into an outlet that’s as euphoric as it is cheeky. Blending alternative rock with British pop influences, the Franco-British artist humorously recounts a ‘tea’ overdose that drives her to throw convention out the window. A unifying track, equally at home on an indie rock playlist as it is in a ‘summer vibes’ selection.

The release is accompanied by visuals featuring her father, a former English punk, which extend the track’s authentic and offbeat vibe.

Following the selection of her previous track by Rolling Stone France and her appearance at the Club Avant Seine at Rock en Seine 2026, Maddy Street continues to cement her place amongst the new generation of French alternative rock, without ever forgetting her British roots.
