Ed O'Brien shates record Blue Morpho
Ed O’Brien is best known as the guitarist of Radiohead, but alongside the globally renowned band he has also developed his solo project. In addition to the music, he created a short film that premiered in record stores, including in the Netherlands, and will later be available to stream online.
Blue Morpho was created in collaboration with producer Paul Epworth (Paul McCartney, Adele). For O’Brien, his solo work serves as a way to process his emotions, resulting in music that feels deeply personal and cinematic. On this record, he confronts his own darkness and emerges renewed with a hopeful album inspired by the healing power of nature.
To coincide with the release, he will also head out on tour, including stops in Amsterdam and Groningen.
