Melanie De Biasio releases new album 'Il Viaggio' | LIVE

Melanie De Biasio's new album, Il Viaggio (Italian for the journey), is now available! Recorded partly in Italy (in the small village of Lettomanoppello in the Abruzzi region, and in Montereale where her grandmother lives) and partly in Belgium (notably in Charleroi, where she set up Alba, her Maison des Talents Partagés), this new album is an invitation to travel and, for Melanie De Biasio, a return to her roots.

This new album is organized as a sonic journey in two parts : Lay Your Ear To The Rail (part I with 9 tracks) and The Chaos Azure (part II with two 20 minutes musical pieces). After four magnificent works (A Stomach Is Burning, No Deal, Blackened Cities and Lilies) and an album of remixes produced by Gilles Peterson, let's explore Il Viaggio and find again her sensual voice that speaks softly, her appeasing melodies and the richness of her sound.
