Melanie De Biasio wrestling video for 'Your Freedom Is The End Of Me'

Multi-instrumentalist Melanie De Biasio unveils the video for new track Your Freedom is The End Of Me “the arena of failed obsessions”. The opening track from her forthcoming albumLilies , due for release through Play It Again Sam on 6th October.

Co-directed by Melanie and Yves Kuperberg, a Lausanne and Paris based producer, director and scenographer, it features two wrestlers contesting with peripheral interaction from Melanie herself as she explores the interaction of egos and obsessions. As she explains,“I wanted to stage the relationship between a man and a woman, and the fight of two wrestlers. The wrestlers symbolize the struggle of the two lovers’ egos and their failed obsessions.”

Using the latest technologies and his artistic "savoir faire” Yves creates images and narratives ranging from live-action to animation works. His audio visual creations have collected numerous awards and prizes.

Melanie De Biasio will be touring throughout Europe, including her first return to London since last year’s sold-out Jazz Café show and culminating with what is an almost hometown Christmas show in Brussels, the full tour is as follows:
