New names for Rock Werchter 2017!

Another seven names for Rock Werchter 2017. The bill is shaping up. The new names are in the genres of punk rock, hip hop, singer-songwriter, soul, rap and beyond. Two new names for the festival opening day, Thursday 29 June: Xavier Rudd and Whitney. One for Friday 30 June: Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - back, because last year they were 'oh so good'. Jimmy Eat World and Machine Gun Kelly appear on Saturday 1 July. And finally, Tourist LeMC and G-Eazy are expected on Sunday 2 July. More names to follow soon.

Rock Werchter 2017 takes place at the Festivalpark in Werchter, from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July. The one day tickets for Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July are now sold out. Waiting lists have been opened. All other ticket categories are still available. Tickets for Rock Werchter 2017 are on sale from ticketmaster.be.

The now confirmed acts in a handy overview per festival day:

  • Thursday 29 June: Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, The Chainsmokers, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, Prophets of Rage, Agnes Obel, Mark Lanegan Band, Mura Masa, Xavier Rudd, Whitney
  • Friday 30 June: Radiohead, James Blake, Oscar And The Wolf, Royal Blood, Bazart, Future Islands, Kaleo, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Warhaus, White Lies, Maggie Rogers
  • Saturday 1 July: Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Blink-182, Bonobo (live), Crystal Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Machine Gun Kelly
  • Sunday 2 July: Foo Fighters, alt-J, Soulwax, Dropkick Murphys, G-Eazy, The Kills, The Lumineers, Rae Sremmurd, Tourist LeMC, Benjamin Clementine

The sale of regular camping tickets begins today. A regular camping ticket – option A1, C3 or C7 – costs 27 euros (presales) whatever the length of your stay.
