German death metallers Minenfeld return after seven years with new album "Instruments of Industrialized Warfare"

German death metal band Minenfeld released their second full-length, "Instruments of Industrialized Warfare", on October 16th, 2026. The album is available digitally, on CD, LP and cassette, with the CD released by Iconoclasm Conquest and the LP and cassette editions handled by Fucking Kill Records.

Seven years after their first full-length, Minenfeld return with a record firmly rooted in the sound of early '90s death metal. "Instruments of Industrialized Warfare" contains eight original tracks built around crushing riffs and a deliberately raw approach, plus a cover of Hellhammer's "The Third of the Storms".

War remains central to Minenfeld's music, but not as spectacle or glorification. The album focuses on its realities and consequences, while openly rejecting the resurgence of nationalism. The band's own message is direct: "Crush Nationalism!"

The album was recorded in November 2025 at Tonmeisterei Oldenburg by Dave. Mixing and layout were handled by Poison Drinker, with mastering by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony. The artwork was created by Cuero Negro.
