Paloma Faith releases slinky and soulful new single Crybaby - listen now!

Paloma Faith has returned with her brand new single, called Crybaby.

The slinky, soul-funk track was co-written by Paloma, Lindy Robbins, Cleo Tighe and Starsmith, who also produced the number. It's the first taster of Paloma’s upcoming fourth album, The Architect, which follows later this year.

Paloma describes the song's lyrics as “a conversation between a man and I, and the song questions whether global conflicts would cease to exist if men successfully dealt with their feelings. Would things be resolved without attack and with measured discussion?”

Crybaby is the first new music from Paloma since her 2014 album A Perfect Contradiction, which peaked at Number 2 is certified double Platinum in the UK for sales over 600,000, with 767,000 sales in total.

The record helped her win Best British Female at the Brit Awards in 2015, where she gave a moving speech, saying: "It’s been a long time coming. It’s taken me fourteen years to stand up here and accept this award and it means so much to me."
