Paperlane Park releases 'The Mirror'

Paperlane Park is a semi-instrumental pop act founded by the Belgian composer/arranger Jasper Stockmans. The project began as some kind of a home-recording occupational therapy, dealing with an obsession for icons like Brian Wilson, Serge Gainsbourg and Ennio Morricone.

In 2015 Jasper had enough of hiding away in his studio and travelled to London to record a first EP. Together with great London musicians like Syd Kemp (bass) and Valentina Magaletti (drums), he enriched his sound with the warm voice and vibe of singer/producer Cathy Lucas. In his compositions, Jasper flirts with a wide variety of styles, ranging from sweet and sensual pop songs to a dazzling display of seventies inspired psychedelica. Also to be considered as a highly recommended escape route into a safe state of filmic and feel-good atmospheres.
