Psychedelic Folk-Rock with Suzan Kocher 's Suprafon Live in Concert 2020!

Just a few day after the official release of new and acclaimed album Suprafon, the Suzan Köcher's Suprafon quartet announced a full batch of live shows for Germany, Denmark, and Sweden!

Shades of Krautrock, Psych-Folk and French Pop float through their new songs that are at once enthralling and loose. Through their many live shows they have developed a unique sound fueled by Suzan Köcher’s magical voice, haunting melodies, fearless experimentation and an impressive arsenal of old rusty instruments that colour their sound in all shades of withered glory.

The second chapter of Suzan Köcher's musical journey, which set off with debut album Moon Bordeaux two years ago, began earlier this year with the single Peaky Blinders and a new name. Suzan Köcher's Suprafon is the name of this ensemble, which has meanwhile grown into a solid band and makes such idiosyncratic and catchy music.

Playful psychedelics, gloomy Krautrock bonds, melancholy Dream Pop - all these elements interweave Suzan Köcher's Suprafon into an irresistible sound world. Suzan sings with a light and unagitated heaviness, which can probably be compared to singers like Francoise Hardy or Dusty Springfield. Their band plays new music on old instruments and sounds timeless and fallen out of time at the same time. The new album Suprafon will be released on November 8 on Unique Records - recorded in Austin, Texas. On the B-side there is a song cycle about a day in Prague - the band members have roots in Turkey, Indonesia and Germany. Borders are mostly obstacles in art - Suzan Köcher's Suprafon have deliberately ignored them.
