The flying bulls are coming! Finest rock on stage, spectacular stunts above the stage by festival partner Red Bull and their top ambassadors of winged action! In partnership wit Red Bull, “Rock in Vienna“ is offering the audience sensational entertainment, not only on but also next to – and in particular above – the stage....

When “Rock in Vienna“ makes the Danube Island quake from the 4th to the 6th of June 2015, everybody will be talking about THE rock festival of the year. Pure action awaits the audience, not only on the stages with Metallica, Muse, KISS and Co., Austria's first class rock festival will also get massive support from sky high: On two festival days, Red Bull will be sending their cool heroes of the air in winged action over the Danube Island and “Rock in Vienna“!

Red Bull is sending the Skydive Team and Hannes Arch.

The aerial acrobats from the Red Bull Skydive Team will show what is possible in the playing ground of the 3rd dimension on Friday, the 5th of June 2015. And anybody who knows the cool athletes from the parachuting- and base jumping scene, knows that a top level performance with acrobatic stunts and breathtaking effects awaits us.

One day before the 71st jubilee of D-Day, Red Bull landing troops will disembark from a helicopter over the island: The Red Bull Skydive Team will form a knot over the island and land directly on the festival grounds. Here too, the festival visitors will have the best viewing position.

Not only the motors will drone!

On Saturday, the 6th of June, Austria's presently best known champion of the skies, the multiple Red Bull Air Race and acrobatic flying champion Hannes Arch, will amaze the audience on the Danube Island with his spectacular aerial show. Arch will thunder over the island in his well known dynamic and aggressive flying style and conjure knots in the air. “I'm really looking forward to the air show, and most particularly, to be able to deliver a rock show in the air for so many rock fans. I am also looking forward to the music, I like rock because it is honest music” says Hannes Arch, who is already working out special stunts for “Rock in Vienna”.
