Rudy Live brings new soca smash "24"

Virgin Islands’ soca queen Rudy Live wins with “24” - her latest hit for the 2017 St. Thomas Carnival season, now available worldwide on all major digital retailers, from FOX FUSE. Born Toiya Isaac, the St. Thomas native has been performing professionally for 10 years now and causing a stir ever since. Influenced at first by her love of reggae, pop and R&B, it was not until her first soca show when Alison Hinds gave a memorable performance that Rudy Live fell in love with soca music and understood her musical calling.

“24” is an energetic, groovy party jam that is bound to be a crowd favorite at all upcoming carnivals, both at home in St. Thomas and internationally. The sizzler was penned by Rudy Live and produced by CL Productions, with co-production from J.J. Productions and Franklyn Lambert. The official music video debuted on VEVO, where it is bound to rack up views worldwide.

Combining smarts, beauty and talent, Rudy Live aims to inspire through her music and represent her beloved island on an international level. “I feel incredibly blessed to have this project released internationally,” states Rudy Live. “My team has been working non-stop with the whole creative process for ‘24.’” She was recently at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, promoting the song to the mainstream music industry and fans, in keeping with her musical mission of spreading soca music globally.
