Sam Fender & Angèle at Rock Werchter 2027!
We’re on a roll! Earlier this week, we were delighted to announce Angèle for Sunday 4 July, and today we’re taking it one step further already. Get ready to sing along at the top of your lungs, because Sam Fender is headlining Rock Werchter 2027 on Saturday 3 July!
Sam Fender is the voice of a generation. The British singer-songwriter from North Shields effortlessly strikes a chord with his indie rock whilst also bringing the house down. Inspired by greats such as Bruce Springsteen, he writes songs that are as vulnerable as they are explosive, with lyrics that take a close look at today’s world. He took the world by storm with ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ and ‘Seventeen Going Under’. In 2025 his third album, ‘People Watching’, followed, earning him, amongst other honours, a Mercury Prize, two BRIT Awards and the title of Songwriter of the Year. In 2027, Sam Fender will be touring Europe and the UK once again, and we’re so happy that Rock Werchter 2027 is also on his itinerary.
Angèle has long been an integral part of the European pop scene. With hits such as “Balance ton quoi”, “Bruxelles je t’aime” and “Tout oublier”, she has conquered not only Belgium but also the rest of the world. With her new album ‘Instinct’, she is embarking on a new artistic chapter. Expect electronic sounds, surprising contrasts and a musical journey of discovery centred on the tension between control and letting go, image and reality, and the different versions of ourselves. In a brand-new live show, Angèle takes you into her fascinating world.
Previously announced acts include Muse (Friday 2 July), Tame Impala (Sunday 4 July) and SOMBR (Sunday 4 July).
