The Radar Station reaches the final of the International Songwriting Competition

The Belgian band The Radar Station is proud to announce that with “Somewhere Out There,” a track from their latest EP “So Many Faces,” they have reached the final of the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Founded in 2002, this international contest receives thousands of submissions from songwriters around the world each year. This year, more than 13,000 songs were entered.

After several rigorous selection rounds, The Radar Station successfully made it through the semi-finals and now ranks among the final 10 in the Adult Alternative category. Their place in the final confirms their status as one of the most promising acts worldwide at the moment.

The competition is judged by a renowned international jury, including icons such as Tom Waits, Jason Mraz, Ryan Adams, Nancy Wilson (Heart), as well as top producers like Steve Lillywhite (U2, Simple Minds) and Glenn Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Michael Jackson), alongside label executives and A&R managers.

This is only the second time ever that a Belgian band has reached the final of this prestigious competition. The first was the internationally acclaimed Belgian-Australian artist Gotye. Other artists discovered by the ISC who later achieved global success include Bastille, Passenger, and Tones and I, who won the competition with “Dance Monkey.”

With this achievement, The Radar Station confirms that Belgium once again has a top-level international musical talent. Their new EP “So Many Faces” showcases their unique sound and highlights their potential for global recognition.
