Tuff Nut Studio Delivers Conscious Reggae Gems on Three New Albums

Tuff Nut Studio delivers a multitude of conscious reggae gems on its three new compilations - Global Mix Riddim, Ancient Riddim and Repentance Riddim, now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released on April 15, 2016), from FOX FUSE. Based in Febeau Village in San Juan, Trinidad, Tuff Nut Studio was established in 2006 by producer Michael “Master Mike” Samuel, who has been crafting reggae hits for just over a decade now. He is on the forefront of the Trinidadian reggae scene, as rich reggae music continues to emerge from other Caribbean countries, besides Jamaica. Both the Global Mix Riddim and Ancient Riddim scored coveted features on the iTunes U.S. Reggae New Music chart, during their week of release.

All one-drop reggae melodies, the Global Mix Riddim brings seven conscious reggae tunes and features the likes of Ziggy Ranking, Marley Palmer and Empress Smooth. It was created with the intention of delivering local Trinidadian music and messages to the global audience, with the hopes of generating international fan support for the righteous music coming from Trinidad and Tobago. The Global Mix Riddim also topped the TYT Malta Carib Ultra Countdown, on Boom Champions 94.1FM in Trinidad and Tobago. The Ancient Riddim births six smooth songs including beautiful showings from Jaron Nurse, J Dot Manswell and Marley Palmer. It expounds on the keys to life, which are patience and faith in God. The Repentance Riddim spawns four spiritual tracks, which send a clear message that God is coming soon and call for the end to violence and more love for others. It features conscious tunes from J Dot Manswell, Marley Palmer and Patriotic, backed by a beautiful, mellow rhythm that brings classic one-drop reggae vibes.

“Our unique style of producing music is very spiritual and natural,” reveals producer Master Mike. “What makes our label different is that we strive to be leaders in everything that we are doing and we are using our music to open an avenue for the younger ones. We also go into various communities and spread positivity, that’s why we produce a lot of inspirational music.” These three new compilations and its positive messages are finding a home with reggae fans across the world and continue to make Tuff Nut Studio a household name.
