Urskog releases "Sprider Sporer"

Urskog ("Primeval Forest" in english) is a Swedish metal band with its roots in the gloomy fir forests and oxygen-depleted marshes of Lapland, in northernmost Sweden.

The band's one continuous member Anders Persson, who writes all the music, describes its sound as a minced meat of all the metal and punk he has ever listened to. All lyrics are in Swedish, mixing environmental themes with Nordic mythology.

In the winter of 2017 Urskog released the first single "Sprider Sporer" (Spreading Spores) on 7" vinyl featuring cover art by Mattias Frisk, from Vanhelgd. An EP is currently under production, to be released in the beginning of 2018.
