YDG & Mike Posner deliver bass-boosted version of “Please Don’t Go”

Mike Posner’s chart-topping single “Please Don’t Go” - originally released as the second single from his debut album 31 Minutes to Takeoff - gets a full-on transformation with a heavy dubstep take from reveled producer YDG, loaded with hard drops and a driving bassline.

Originally released in 2010, “Please Don’t Go” peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a defining pop-electro moment for Posner, co-written and co-produced with Benny Blanco. The track fused synth-pop and R&B-inflected rhythms, with lyrics pleading “Baby, please don’t go” that tapped into both emotional vulnerability and dancefloor momentum.

Now, YDG flips the track’s dynamic - preserving the haunting topline and emotive core, but layering in dubstep grit, rattling sub-drops, and an unrelenting low end designed for festival sets and club mayhem. The result: a version that not only honours the original but propels it into peak-time bass territory.
