Ziggy Ranking Debuts Miserable Life Globally
Trinidadian reggae sensation Ziggy Ranking debuts his album Miserable Life globally, as it is now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released on April 8, 2016), from FOX FUSE. Inking an exclusive, worldwide digital distribution deal with FOX FUSE, Ranking’s entire catalog will now become available to the international audience directly from him, for the very first time.
Miserable Life was originally released in Trinidad and Tobago as a CD in 2005 and now makes its international debut, to the delight of reggae and soca fans everywhere. The collection boasts 16 jams covering reggae, soca, dancehall and ragga soca, which highlights Ranking’s versatility as an artist and lyricist, as he regularly crosses the full spectrum of Caribbean genres. He also contributed his production talents to the project by producing most of the album and writing all the tracks himself.
On the scene for two decades now, Ranking’s genre-bending style and sound have made him a mainstay in the Trinidadian music scene and he looks forward to his music finding its home with a global audience. “Music is life and life is music and I treat every day as special as I treat every song I have written,” Ranking states. “Thank you to my parents and everyone who supported me from day one until now. I would also like to welcome all my new fans and supporters. Without them, I am nothing.”
